William Russ – Biography

William (Will) Russ is a Research Scientist for The Institute for Perception. He is an experienced programmer - proficient in R, C/C++, C#, XAML, Matlab, Java, Visual Basic, Python, and LateX - who earned a BS in Applied Mathematics from the Virginia Commonwealth University. Will originally joined the Institute for Perception to become the lead software developer of IFPrograms™, but he has continued his post-graduate education in data science and now frequently collaborates with Dr. John Ennis on algorithmic development and bespoke predictive modelling work. Will has extensive teaching experience in diverse areas, and his research interests include optimization, machine learning, graph theory, and numerical analysis.
