Chris Cole is a litigation partner in the Washington, D.C. of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. Chris, who has been called a "superstar in false advertising matters" by Chambers & Partners, leads the firm’s false advertising litigation practice, one of the busiest in the nation. He represents a diverse roster of clients in comparative advertising battles under the Lanham Act and before the National Advertising Division (NAD), as well as in class actions and other commercial litigation matters. Chris has been a frequent author and commentator on advertising litigation issues, and in particular, green marketing. Chris is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston University School of Law and holds biology and marine biology degrees from Yale and the University of Miami, respectively.
